Astro-Herbal Plant Walk + Foraged Smoke Stick Workshop
Come hang out with the plants of the East Bay Bike Path with me! As we stroll and encounter new plant friends, we'll stop to chat about their medicinal and astrological applications. We'll also harvest a few abundant herbs like mugwort and mullein to make our own smoke sticks to bring home!

About the event
Plants embody the virtues of the planets they bear correspondence with. For example, mugwort is a Moon plant that can help facilitate lucid dream states and support utererine function -- two very lunar qualities.
Having a sense of the astrological correspondences of the plants growing in your own proverbial backyard is useful info for when you're trying to remediate a tricky natal placement or give offerings to a specific planetary diety! During our stroll we'll talk about some of the more magical applications of the plants we encounter and how you can use them in your ritual or devotional practice.
I'm happy to answer questions to the best of my ability as we rendezvous with wide variety of species including: mullein, St. John's wort, mugwort, sumac, burdock, yellow dock, yarrow, beach rose, juniper, goldenrod, milkweed and broad leaf plantain.
No prior herbal or astrology experience necessary! This is an LGBTQIA+ friendly event. Weather permitting, no rain date. Insect repellent and appropriate outdoor walking attire recommended. We'll meet at the bike path parking lot that's just to the north of Watchemoket Cove (email if you need directions) at 10:45am and will depart for our walk promptly at 11am.
